Andrea Molinari, PHD in Computer Science, graduated in Economics with a specialization in Computer Science, is a contract professor since 1990 in the area of ICTs at the University of Trento, since 2003 at the University of Bozen (Italy), and since 2007 at the Åbo Akademi (Finland). His research fields are e-learning and mobile learning, virtual communities and social networks and in general collaboration activities mediated by computers, with more than 200 scientific papers published in books, journals and conferences. Since 1988 operates as consultant on advanced information systems, with different collaborations on european projects and consultancy projects for international corporations. His professional activities are oriented towards Enterprise Project Management Systems, specifically the implementation of Project management technologies and techniques inside ICT development teams.

In the recent years, he developed a personal mix of Agile and traditional project management specifically for software development projects. Software architect in some large-scale projects under Microsoft .NET platform since 1998, since 2002 is working on the evolution and extension of Enterprise Project Management implementations by large organizations and Public administrations.
